One of the questions I get asked at least once a week is, "How can our non-profit stand out?"
It’s a great question to be thinking about.
Every month it feels like we have to compete harder for attention. The problem is that if you keep thinking about what you have to do in fundraising and communications to stand out, it often leads you down the path of tactics that feel gimmicky, uncomfortable, and out of integrity with how your non-profit wants to show up.
The better question to think about is this -- what about how your organization already communicates has attracted and retained your most loyal supporters and community members?
As I’ve talked about over the last few weeks, there are undoubtedly things you are already doing that are working. These are your organization's strengths, super powers and unfair advantages.
The key is identifying these and building your strategy around them. This is how you implement authenticity as a strategy.
On August 26th I’m going to teach a free class to show you how to do this for your organization.
My goal for this class is for you to come away with clarity and confidence as we head into the last part of the year. AKA year-end fundraising
So if you’re interested in re-thinking your approach to standing out in fundraising and communications, I hope to see you at this class.
If you’ve been on a webinar with me before, you know I love to answer your questions and provide as much value as possible. You can absolutely expect that this time around 🙂
