Whenever I go through a planning process for a fundraising program, one of the things that I always get curious about is where the program could grow next. Where could this program grow exponentially, not just incrementally? What are the areas of real potential? What tactic or strategy could help the organization reach its long-term fundraising goals? These are just a few of the questions that I find myself asking when I go through a development audit and onwards to a planning process.
I have a long history of using questions as a generative brainstorming tool to help me and teams I work with get out of their usual box. It’s easy to get fundraising tunnel vision. But even if you can escape that tunnel vision, how do you know what your next best move is?
I mean, there really are endless trends and options for non-profit fundraising. This is where having a decision-making framework can be especially useful and that’s exactly what I’m going to be talking about in an upcoming webinar on February 6.

I’m peeling back the layers of marshmallow fluff to dive right into a conversation about strategy development. I really don’t think you need ten more tips to raise more money this year. Nor do you need me to tell you about trends that may or may not work for your donor base.
What you do need is a strategy for growth and I’m going to share exactly how I go through this process with my clients. I’ll walk you through the questions ask, the data I analyze and how I ultimately decided the best strategies for growth.
My goal for this webinar is for you to come way with a clear plan of action for your non-profit.
As always, I’ll be answering lots of questions and having an interactive discussion with all of those who attend. And yes, there will be a recording afterwards for you to reference.
See you at the webinar!
