Unicorns Unite Book Review

I was really excited to receive a copy of Unicorns Unite by Jane Leu, Jessamyn Shams-Lau, and Vu Le. I've been a long time reader of Vu's blog, NonprofitAF, and the work he's been doing to shift deeply entrenched problems in our sector.

Unicorns Unite focuses on non-profit and foundation relationships, specifically how both can come together to create epic partnerships and do better work. Sounds like the dream, right? The reality has been far from it and is one of the many reasons why I left grant writing behind. The truth is that there is a lot of opportunity for non-profits and foundations to partner and make substantial change in the world. This book is all about imagining this new paradigm and giving readers a roadmap to get there.

I was really inspired by the ideas in Unicorns Unite and thought I'd share my top three takeaways in today's video.

Have you read Unicorns Unite? Let me know what you thought of it in the comments below.

If you haven't read it yet, you can pick up a copy on Amazon.

I'll be sharing more video content on my Youtube channel this summer so be sure to subscribe here to get more video content to help your storytelling and communications.
