Around here, we love a good story! There's really no better way to inspire your storytelling than by reading or watching other great stories. Recently in our community Facebook group, I asked our members whose storytelling they admire.
Surprisingly (or perhaps not?), the winner of the poll was St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. While this is a very brand name non-profit, it's never been one that I followed closely so putting this video together for you was really interesting. I spent time going through some of their stories and content to come up with storytelling tips inspired by St. Jude's.
In today's video I'm sharing these tips with you and breaking down a few examples of their storytelling work.
As I mentioned in the video, I was especially inspired by the notion of inclusive storytelling. I know there are many organizations out there working on diversity and inclusion initiatives, and it's interesting to see how this can play out in storytelling and communications.
Be sure to leave a comment below and let me know which tips you plan to try.
