5 Self-Care Tips for Year-End Fundraising

Hands up if you’ve made it to the end of December feeling totally burned out and exhausted?

That’s right, my hand is up, too.

Year-end fundraising can really take it out of us. We’ve got a million plates spinning, plus the added stress of the holiday season and our personal lives. It all adds up and can really take its toll on us.

But it doesn’t have to.

There are ways to self-manage, have good boundaries and take better care of ourselves so that burnout doesn’t become our new normal in December.

In today’s video, I’m sharing 5 self-care tips to help you survive and thrive this year-end fundraising season.

Self-care is so important and it’s not just about getting a mani-pedi (though sometimes that can be fun). Self-care is about the things you do to refresh your energy stores and help you be more resilient.

If you’re interested in reading more about this topic, check out my review of Beth Kanter’s book all about self-care.

Be sure to leave a comment below and let me know if you’re planning to take the self-care pledge 🙂
