Review

Every year I do a three-part review and planning process. I call it Review, Reflect, Forward. Today’s post is Review. This is a look at numbers and other metrics from my work this year.

Moleskine notebooks used this year: 5 (I will also say that this year I discovered the joys of using Evernote and I’m now using that for some things. But I do still love a Moleskine.)

Favorite pens: Pilot Frixion Clicker (I love the 0.5 size and appreciate the eraser)

Books read in 2016: 33

My favorite reads:
The Year of Magical Thinking by Joan Didion
On Writing by Stephen King
Self-Compassion by Kristen Neff
Getting Things Done by David Allen

Books published: 1 (find it here)

Conferences attended: 6

Webinars taught: 22

Clients worked with: 5

Blog posts published: 84

Heart-warming emails, notes, tweets, calls that remind me of why I do this: too many too count

Best Moments of My year:
#1 – Publishing my book! I am still so happy that I committed to that project and made it happened this year.

#2 – Meeting so many blog and newsletter readers in person this year. Whether it was for coffee while I was traveling, at conferences, or at events around Vancouver, it is always amazing to connect with you all in person.

#3 – Swimming with sea turtles! This was so amazing. I was a little nervous at a first, but once we were out in the ocean and saw a very peaceful turtle swimming by, I was hooked.
