Sackler Family Donation, Women Give 2019, and More Non-Profit Sector News

It's the end of March and so much was happening around the non-profit sector. I decided to make this video to talk about non-profit news and research that caught my attention. I talk about each one and one implications it could have for your fundraising program.

That's it for this month! Be sure to leave a comment below and share your thoughts on these stories and research.

Articles and research I mentioned in this video.

The National Portrait Gallery declining the Sackler Family gift. I didn't mention this in the video, but many other galleries and museums have followed suit.

Hate is Not Charitable Campaign. It's still early days for this campaign so it will be interesting to see how this unfolds for Donor Advised Funds.

Social Media for Nonprofit Donor Engagement. Mentions some interesting research on fundraising and social media strategy.

Women Give 2019: Gender and Giving Across Communities of Color report from the Lily Family School of Philanthropy. I also mentioned Preeti Gill's blog Diversity Driven Data, which is a great resource. Preeti is  @SoleSearcherPR on Twitter.
