Professional Development is an important part of anyone’s job. It’s great to take the time to invest in yourself and your skills. If you’re anything like me, I find myself always learning something new and I love it! It’s a good reminder that part of being a professional is the on-going task of honing your craft.

It’s the premiere conference in the fundraising world and where tons of the most brilliant fundraising minds gather to learn from one another. AFP conferences are always a great time and a wonderful opportunity to connect with other fundraisers.
Web of Change
September 2014 near Vancouver, Canada
Last year was my first year attending Web of Change and it was a real game changer for me. I highly recommend this conference for anyone who wants to explore innovative and non-traditional approaches to their work. It’s also got the best alumni network and community on the block! It’s by application only so be sure to keep your eyes on the website in the Spring when applications open.
