How to Use Evernote to Organize Your Stories

One question I have been asked numerous times this year is: What tools are available to help people organize stories that they collect?

While there are lots of tools out there, my personal favorite is Evernote.

Evernote is a cloud-based word processor that allows you capture information and categorize it for future use. In addition to being able to type notes, it also has an audio recording function, which is great for story interviews. But the thing that I love most about it is that it has a terrific mobile app. That means you can access and record stories at your desk or on the go.

Check out my short tutorial below for tips on using Evernote to organize your stories.

Find out more about Evernote here and learn how to sign up.

I’m an evernote lover too! I use for work and personal purposes. If you want to take your evernote obsession to the next level, I highly recommend checking out http://www.thesecretweapon.org/the-secret-weapon-manifesto/manifesto-part-1-the-issue . It’s a process of implementing the book Getting Things Done with Evernote.
