How disappointing is it to tell a story only to have little to no response from your audience?
It's not great to feel like you have little to show for the hours and resources you put into your storytelling content. And yet, I find this happens to a lot of non-profit organizations to the point that they get very deterred about storytelling.
I don't want this to happen to you!
In today's video I'm sharing three ways you can get better results from your stories using three questions I ask when I audit an organization's storytelling efforts.
So much of my students and clients' success with storytelling has come from them thoughtfully reflecting on their work and identifying ways they can improve it. Sometimes data and analytics can be helpful in this regard. Other times, have a reflection framework can be useful and that's what the three questions are that I shared in this video.
I'd love to hear from you. Which of these questions will you use to improve your stories? Let me know in the comments below.
I'll be sharing more video content on my Youtube channel this summer so be sure to subscribe here to get more video content to help your storytelling and communications.
