Meaningful professional development. Insight. Inspiration. Community. Friendship.
These are the tenets of the Fundraising Sisterhood.
You won’t find these kinds of values in a typical fundraising association. What you will find in a typical association are meaningless networking, boring panel discussions, and overpriced conferences and events. Most of all, what you are least likely to find in these other associations and groups are conversations about advancing women in the fundraising industry.
The Fundraising Sisterhood is a monthly membership program and community designed for women in fundraising. Our goal is to support each other in advancing our fundraising work and our careers. To that end, we’re offering up a ton of unique support and education that you won’t find anywhere else, along with accountability to ensure that you make progress on your most important priorities.
On average women in fundraising are making less money than men (in fact $12,000 less in the US, according to the Compensation and Benefits Study) and are in few leadership positions, despite being the majority gender. Offices and associations are dominated by men.
Women need a space -- some might even argue a safe space -- where they can convene to exchange ideas, learn from each other and experts and build a professional community that has their backs.
The Fundraising Sisterhood is that space for the modern woman in fundraising.
In the Fundraising Sisterhood, you’ll belong to a community of likeminded women who want to advance their careers and grow their fundraising knowledge.
Together we’ll advance the profession as an ethical, empathetic, and empowering community of women.
