From my experience working with non-profits on their storytelling and communications campaigns, the non-profits who are the most successful at storytelling are the ones who are proactively collecting stories. Admittedly, that isn’t always the easiest of tasks.
One tool that I’ve developed in the last year is a story collecting template.
